Bird Symbols

Birds are amazing creatures who have much to share with people from the shamanistic traditions of the world. They are quick thinkers, happy in nature, and bring great joy to those who are open to receiving their messages.

When a person is on a spiritual path and they are opening or awakening to their journey, birds will appear, often flying next to the vehicle the person is driving in, as a sign of opening or moving closer to knowing what their path is. Birds will come to your place of residence and perch outside the windows, calling and chirping, bringing joy and happiness.

Different birds have different meanings. For example, crows and ravens are very intelligent creatures and should be listened to very carefully for they have a great message of wisdom to share. Sparrows in a flock that come to you give the energy of people throwing a huge surprise party! It is wonderful energy and should make you smile at the very least.

When I was awakening to my spiritual path and opening to all of my psychic skills, birds would often fly alongside my car, zipping across the hood, darting in and out of my driving path. Once, sadly, one even flew into the side of my tires and died instantly. I asked the bird kingdom to give me messages in a less invasive way than that from then on!

Now, whenever I am working with a client in a session, flocks of birds come and perch right outside the windows of my healing room, chirping and sending us their blessings as we work. It is a lovely feeling!
