Since being home on maternity leave, it has been a challenge for me to consistently get on my meditation mat and spend some quiet time inwardly reflecting. I've been practicing mindfulness towards my baby, just as all mothers do with new little ones who need constant care and attention. As routines continue to solidify in my house, consistent personal meditation practice will come back into focus.
And, as I begin to think about my meditation practice I find myself drawing inspiration from images of meditation mats, chairs and benches.
