Strolling

I went for a walk during unseasonably mild weather over the weekend inside Mount Feake Cemetery, which was established in 1857. I found myself snapping photos of all the veteran's graves. I was attracted to the simple elegance of the small flags next to each grave. I found veterans who had served in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and the Spanish American War. Dusk was upon me as I strolled through the quiet tree lined lanes. The nature spirits were out with me, just out of eye sight, stirring the leaves and trilling their laughter just out of ear shot. It was a magical time to be out and about...
